The mining and quarrying sub-index rose 12.6% year-on-year (YoY), supported by Saudi Arabia’s oil output increasing to 10.1 million barrels per day (bpd) in November from 8.9 million bpd in the same month a year earlier.
The manufacturing sub-index increased by 8.1% YoY, driven by an 14.5% rise in the manufacturing of coke and refined petroleum products, as well as an 10.9% jump in the manufacturing of chemicals.
