Cluster2 Airports passenger traffic rises 11% in 2025

Cluster2 Airports Co. said its airports handled more than 19.9 million passengers in 2025, representing an 11% increase year on year (YoY).

 

The company added that more than 164,000 flights were operated, up 7% YoY, while on-time performance reached 87.9% for departures and 87.4% for arrivals.

 

Launched on Jan. 1, 2022, Cluster2 Airports operates and develops Saudi Arabia’s domestic, regional, and tourist airports.

 

The company targets managing and operating 22 airports across the Kingdom to support Saudi Arabia’s tourism goals and contribute to the development of the aviation sector.

 

Cluster2 Airports operates several airports, including Al-Ula International Airport, Najran International Airport, Bisha Airport, Arar Airport, Sharurah Airport, Gurayat Airport, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport in Jazan, King Saud bin Abdulaziz Airport in Al-Baha, Hail International Airport, NEOM Bay International Airport, Taif International Airport, Abha International Airport, Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Qassim, and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Airport in Tabuk.

 

This is in addition to Prince Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz Airport in Yanbu, Al-Wajh Airport, Dawadmi Airport, Rafha Airport, Al Jouf International Airport, Tarif Airport, Wadi Al Dawasir Airport, and Rabigh Airport.

 

The company also said it served 25 domestic and international destinations through 124 air routes in 2025, helping to enhance air connectivity between regions of the Kingdom and global markets.

 

On the air cargo front, the company said it exceeded its cargo volume targets by 7% in 2025, recording cargo volumes of 1,634 tons, representing growth of 44% compared with 2024.

 

It added that cargo aircraft were received for the first time at several cluster airports, including Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Qassim, which handled 10 cargo flights with volumes of 109 tons, while King Saud bin Abdulaziz Airport in Al Baha received 27 cargo flights with volumes of 357 tons.

 

According to Argaam data, Cluster2 Airports is a subsidiary of Matarat Holding Co., established on April 13, 2013, which manages and operates 27 airports across the Kingdom.

 

Matarat Holding, through its subsidiaries Riyadh Airports Co., Jeddah Airports Co., Dammam Airports Co., and Cluster2 Airports Co., aims to develop Saudi Arabia’s airports and enhance their performance in line with the Kingdom’s rapid development, while supporting sustainable development under the National Aviation Strategy, which stems from the National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Vision 2030.
