Official: Al-Harameen metro to run in test mode in March 2015

Al-Harameen train will operate in test mode starting March 2015 and will have 35 high speed trains serving passengers on final operation, said Saudi Railways Organization president Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Suwaiket.

The organisation will finalize the line linking Al-Madinah and King Abdullah Economic City at Rabigh, then start the test operation of Al-Harameen train, Al-Suwaiket told Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper.

Al-Harameen train will link Makkah with Al-Madinah through Jeddah spanning 450 kilometers.
