8 years after February crash…only 5 companies tops pre-crash levels

In February 26, 2006, the Saudi stock market witnessed the beginning of the stock crash, after an unprecedented wave of gains driven by the massive liquidity that had been traded in the market which exceeded SAR 40bn in some sessions.

The market’s general index recorded its highest level ever surpassing 20,000 points, followed by the crash that continued for several years.
