TASI falls 1% to 11,200 pts, total turnover at SAR 4.4B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1%, or 115 points, to 11,200 points today, May 22, recording its lowest close in a month and a half.
Total turnover reached about SAR 4.4 billion.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco closed at SAR 25.15 (-4%) after going ex-dividend. The company declared a base dividend of SAR 0.33 per share for Q1 2025.
 
Al Rajhi Bank fell by more than 2% to SAR 94.
 
ACWA Power, GO, stc, SAB, Alinma Bank, and Bank AlJazira declined between 1% and 2%.
 
East Pipes slipped more than 3% to SAR 120.60. The company’s Q1 2025 profit fell 52% year-on-year (YoY).
 
Al-Etihad and Alujain closed at SAR 13.44 (-4%) and SAR 37.70 (-2%) after going ex-dividend.
 
SHL was the top decliner, falling 5%.

On the other hand, Retal rose 3% to SAR 15.18. The company signed a sub-development agreement with National Housing Co. to develop residential units in Al-Khobar at an estimated value of SAR 1.42 billion.
 
Saudi Re and Al Rajhi Takaful were top gainers, each rising 4%.
