Care net profit rises 28.7% in FY2019

National Medical Care Co. (Care) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 80.09 million for fiscal year (FY) 2019, a 28.7% year-on-year (YoY) increase, as compared to SAR 62.18 million in FY2018.

The profit was attributed to a 7.3% decline in revenue, in addition to lower patient traffic, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

The medical services provider also cited lower operating costs in manpower, pharmaceuticals, maintenance, and consumables, in addition to an improvement in gross profit margins by 23.4%.
