Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell by 83 points or 1.1% to 7628 points on Thursday, recording the lowest closing in about 4 and a half months.
Total turnover exceeded SAR 4.7 billion, with advance-decline ratio at 32-157
Most of the shares declined with blue chips such as Al Rajhi and SABIC falling by more than 1% each. Saudi Aramco shares declined around 0.3%.
MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance declined more than 7.7% to SAR 14.30, while Umm Al-Qura Cement shed 7% to SAR 24.42.
Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance and National Company for Learning and Education declined 6.3% and 6.4%, respectively.
The Saudi government temporarily suspended entry to the Kingdom for Umrah pilgrims and those planning to visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Meanwhile, shares of Alinma Tokio Marine rose more than 9% to SAR 14.84, while Dallah Healthcare rose more than 9% to SAR 51.30.
Zahrat Al Waha for Trading rose by more than 6.5%, as the company’s board of directors recommended a 7.5% cash dividend for the second half of 2019, at SAR 0.75 per share, amounting to SAR 11.25 million.
