Saudi Arabia seeks to become one of the top five tourism destination in the world, said Ahmad Al-Khateeb, president of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH).
He added, during the launch ceremony of Souq Okaz which is a part of Taif Season, that the Kingdom seeks to target 100 million tourists, confirming that it has what it takes to achieve this goal.
He also stated that the tourism sector is a key contributor to the Kingdom’s economy, highlighting that it requires new investments.
Al-Khateeb said that Saudi Seasons are forecast to witness a paradigm shift in the next five years.
