×Saudi Arabia's real estate deals grow 10% to SAR 14.3 bln last month
The value of Saudi Arabia's real estate deals advanced 10% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 14.34 billion from SAR 12.99 billion in December 2020-January 2021 (Jumada Al Awwal 1442 Hijri year), Saudi Justice Ministry's data showed.
On the other hand, real estate deals fell 23% month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 4.26 billion.
The number of real estate deals made in Jumada Al Awwal reached around 25,600, down from 25,700 during the same month of the last Hijri year.
The number of sold properties slightly increased to 26,600.

The rise in real estate deals in Jumada Al Awwal is attributed to the increase in the number of commercial deals by 34% to SAR 3.37 billion, compared with the same period of the last Hijri year.
Similarly, the value of the residential deals dropped 7% YoY to SAR 9.40 billion. The agricultural and industrial deals were valued at nearly SAR 1.57 billion.
Residential deals represented 65.5% of total real estate deals in Jumada Al Awwal. It was followed by the commercial deals with 23.5%. Meanwhile, the agricultural and industrial deals accounted for 11%.

Riyadh saw the largest number of real estate deals worth SAR 4.62 billion, followed by Jeddah with SAR 2.61 billion worth of deals.
