King Salman bin Abdulaziz

King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a royal order today, Sept. 7, relieving Lieutenant General Khalid bin Qarar Al-Harbi, of his post as Director of Public Security. King Salman also referred Al-Harbi to retirement and investigation.

The royal order was issued as Al-Harbi was accused of committing many violations, such as seizure of public funds, forgery, receiving bribes, and abuse of power along with other 18 employees in the public and private sectors involved.

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) will proceed with investigations about these crimes and take the necessary measures.
