Sheikh Salih Al-Fawzan named Grand Mufti, Head of Council of Senior Scholars: Royal Decree

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal decree appointing Sheikh Salih Al-Fawzan as the Kingdom’s Grand Mufti and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars.

 

Al-Fawzan was also appointed as Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta.
