10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) Al Khaleej Training and Education Co.’s shareholders have approved a board recommendation to hold off on issuing a cash dividend for fiscal year 2018.

 

2) Alandalus Property Co.’s shareholders have approved a 10 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year 2018, during the general assembly meeting held on April 28, 2019.

 

3) City Cement Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 41.4 million for the first quarter of 2019, jumping 66.3 percent year-on-year (YoY), due to higher sales revenue, and improved selling prices.

 

4) Yamama Cement Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 70.63 million for the first quarter of 2019, more than doubled year-on-year (YoY), due to a 38 percent increase in sales volumes.

 

5) Herfy Food Services Co. reported a net profit of SAR 48.1 million for the first quarter of 2019, rising 0.67 percent year-on-year (YoY) on higher sales, higher gross profit and higher net other income.

 

6) Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co. expects to issue FY 2018 financial statements by May 20, 2019, the company said in a bourse statement on Monday.

 

7) Saudi British Bank (SABB) reported a net profit of SAR 1.3 billion for the first quarter of 2019, up 23.77 percent year-on-year (YoY), due to an 11.8 percent rise in gross operating income.

 

8) Assets held by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), the Kingdom’s central bank, increased by SAR 48.4 billion month-on-month to nearly SAR 1.89 trillion in March, new data released by the central bank showed.

 

9) Zahrat Al Waha Trading Co. has renewed a SAR 124 million Shariah compliant bank facilities agreement with the Arab National Bank (ANB).

 

10) Brent crude on Tuesday dropped 22 cents to reach $71.82/bbl, while WTI crude also declined 8 cents to $63.42/bbl.
