TASI rises 1.3% to 11,489 pts, total turnover at SAR 6.1B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.3%, or 142 points, higher at 11,489 points today, May 12.
Total turnover reached about SAR 6.1 billion.
Trade tensions between the US and China eased after they agreed to reduce tariffs temporarily. Oil prices were up nearly 3% today.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco rose by more than 2% to SAR 25.55. Nearly 17 million shares worth over SAR 430 million were traded.
Al Rajhi Bank, ACWA Power, SABIC, Riyad Bank, BSF, and SAB gained between 1% and 3%.
Saudi Ceramics was the top gainer, rising 10%.
Sipchem and SPIMACO rose 5% to SAR 19.10 and SAR 27.30, respectively, after announcing Q1 2025 results.
