TASI falls 1.5% to 10,825 pts, total turnover at SAR 4.3B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.5%, or 165 points, lower at 10,825 points today, June 1, recording its lowest close in November 2023.
Total turnover reached about SAR 4.3 billion.
The market decline came amid a drop in oil prices following OPEC+’s decision to increase production in July.
Market Index
The majority of shares fell, led by Al Rajhi Bank, which slipped 2% to SAR 88.90.
Maaden, ACWA Power, Saudi National Bank, Riyad Bank, SABl, Elm, Mobily, Bank Albilad and Jabal Omar declined between 1% and 4%.
Makkah Construction dropped by 7% to SAR 90.
The newly-listed UCIC was the top decliner, falling 9% to SAR 40.90 (-18% compared to the listing price of SAR 50). Approximately 4.3 million shares were traded. The company announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2025.
GIG closed at SAR 24.02 (-7%) after going ex-dividend.

On the other hand, Emaar EC was the top gainer, rising 4% to SAR 13.28.
Dallah rose 1% to SAR 119.80 after the company announced a cash dividend for Q1 2025.
