×US oil rig count rises by 6 in week ending Oct. 23: Baker Hughes
The number of active US rigs drilling for oil increased by six to 211 in the week ending Oct. 23, maintaining its uptrend for the fifth consecutive week, General Electric Co.’s Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.
Meanwhile, the natural gas rig count declined by one to reach 73 in the week.
