In 2005, City Cement was established as a Saudi joint stock company in Riyadh with capital of SAR 550 million.
It started actual production in 2008 with a design production capacity of 1.6 million tons of clinker per year. The company mainly produces and sells ordinary Portland cement and sulfate-resisting Portland cement.
