MARAFIQ shares dip to all-time low

Shares of Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (MARAFIQ) fell today, March 3, to SAR 43.80 apiece, recording the lowest price since its debut on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).

 

The stock is trading down 10% amid nearly one million shares changing hands so far.

 

MARAFIQ reported a loss of SAR 277 million in Q4 2024 on booking an additional provision.

The company was established as a closed Saudi joint-stock company with capital of SAR 2.5 billion in 2001 to provide electricity and water services in the industrial cities of Jubail and Yanbu. Two years later, it took over operations in Jubail and Yanbu from the Royal Commission.
