Lazurde Company for Jewelry (Lazurde) reopens today its subsidiary’s retail showrooms in Egypt from 10am until 9pm, the company said in a bourse filing.
The outlets will continue to operate in accordance with the government’s public health and safety guidelines, including limiting the number of customers allowed into stores at any given time and the mandatory use of personal protective tools by store personnel.
Other regulations include mandatory temperature checks, face masks, physical distancing, hand sanitization and encouraging contactless payments.
Lazurde is assessing the relevant financial impact and will announce updates in due course.
Egypt lifted COVID-19 curfew restrictions across all provinces, permitting resumption of economic activities starting from June 27, 2020.
