Saudi Arabia records 1,968 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 1,968 to 266,941 as of Sunday, July 26, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 2,541, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 220,323, representing 83% of total registered cases.

 

Thirty new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,733.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 43,885 cases, of which 2,120 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 208 cases were reported in Al Hufof, Taif (195), Riyadh (126), and Makkah (109).

 

A total of 57,216 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 3.06 million.
