Shaker announces resignation of 3 board members

Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Co. (Shaker) board of directors accepted today, July 28, the resignations of three independent board members due to the inconsistency of the appointment of non-Saudi board members under the Commercial Agencies Law.

 

The three board members are Enrique Martinez, Francesco Toscano and Waltherus Cornelis Matthijs.

 

The Commercial Agencies Law requires company board members that carry out activities of commercial agencies to be Saudi nationals.
