Saudi Arabia records 1,482 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,482 new COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 13 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 294,519, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 3,124, raising the total number of recovered cases to 260,393 (88% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 34 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 3,303.

 

Active cases totaled 30,823, of which 1,805 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 86, followed by Hail (63), Hufuf (60), Madinah (60), Madinah and Dammam (51 each).

 

The Kingdom conducted 70,754 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 4.07 million.
