Saudi Arabia records 1,175 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,175new COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 24 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 308,654, the Ministry of Health said.

  

Recoveries reached 1,754, raising the total number of recovered cases to 282,888 (92% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 42 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 3,691.

 

Active cases totaled 22,075, of which 1,635 cases are critical.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 84 each, followed by Hail (60), Jeddah (85), Sabya (53), and Madinah (51).

 

The Kingdom conducted 58,535 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 4.73 million.
