Saudi education ministry inks deal with Tatweer Buildings to set up 60 schools in Makkah, Jeddah

The Ministry of Education signed, on Nov. 19, the first group project contract with Tatweer Buildings Co. for financing, designing, building, and managing the facilities of 60 public schools in Makkah and Jeddah.
The project will accommodate more than 50,000 students, as a part of the partnership program with the private sector, according to a ministerial statement.
Tatweer Buildings presented the conditions and specifications brochure for the second group in Madinah, the ministry clarified.
It also indicated that the partnership projects with the private sector falls in line with the construction, maintenance, transformation, and raising the educational facilities’ efficiency in accordance with international best practices.
