Saudi Arabia records 964 COVID-19 cases on Friday

Saudi Arabia recorded 964 COVID-19 cases today, April 16, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 403,106, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 918, raising the total number of recovered cases to 387,020

(96% of total COVID-19 cases). 

 

The Kingdom reported ten new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,801.

 

Active cases totaled 9,285, of which 1,034 cases are critical. 

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 402, followed by Makkah (215), Eastern Province (157), and Madinah (39).     

 

The Kingdom conducted 53,744 new tests, bringing up the total number to 16.07 million.

 

More than 6.8å million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
