SAMA, CCHI add COVID-19 coverage to insurance policies for expats entering Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) updated the insurance policies for expats entering the Kingdom for the purpose of tourism, visit or Umrah, by adding coverage for the risk of COVID-19.

 

According to SAMA statement, insurance coverage will help provide treatment costs for infected cases, quarantine, and emergency medical evacuation.

 

The coverage aims to ensure everyone’s safety, and offer easily accessible treatment services.
