Saudi CITC issues rating indicator of service providers for Q1 2021

Saudi Arabia's Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) published today, June 13, the rating indicator of service providers in terms of complaints received for the first quarter of 2021.

 

The total number of complaints reached 11,773 in Q1 2021, the telecom regulator said in a statement received by Argaam.

 

Most of these complaints are related to billing, financial obligations, and the lack of services.

 

Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) was the most complained-about telecom operator with a total of 16,000 complaints for every 100,000 subscribers. Virgin Mobile and Lebara Mobile tailed the list with three complaints each for every 100,000 subscribers.

 

On the other hand, Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) had the lowest number of complaints in terms of fixed line services with 22 for every 100,000 subscribers in the three-month period. Zain KSA came second with 164 complaints for every 100,000 subscribers.
