ACWA Power obtains commercial operation certificate for Dubai PV project

International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) obtained the commercial operation certificate for the photovoltaic Phase 1 (PVFD1) of its Noor Energy 1 project, located in Dubai, according to a bourse filing.

 

The project, which has a capacity of 217 megawatts (MW), is 25%-owned by ACWA Power.

 

The financial impact of operating the project is expected to reflect on financial results for Q1 2022, the company said.
