NEOM hotels to open by 2024; TROJENA is future of tourism: exec

NEOM hotels will open their doors to guests by 2024, as the first facility is expected to start operations by the end of 2023, Al Arabiya TV reported, citing Andrew McEvoy, Managing Director Tourism at NEOM.

Visitors will have the chance to ski in the Kingdom for three months a year, McEvoy said, noting that artificial intelligence will be used to provide the best travel experience.

 

Technology will play a key role in NEOM, providing visitors with a smooth experience, with facial recognition used as personal IDs to access airports and unlock hotel room doors, the official added.
