Shares of Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Co. rose 4% to SAR 14.30 — its highest close in four years, today, June 15, with a trading volume of nearly 43.4 million shares. 

 

The stock recorded its highest price of SAR 14.40 by the end of today’s session.

 

Dar Al Arkan was founded on July 18, 2000, before being converted into a joint-stock firm on July 17, 2005, by virtue of a ministerial decree. The company was listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) in December 2007. 

 

The company’s business portfolio includes buying and owning properties as well as developing, selling and renting land plots. This is in addition to the wholesale and retail trade of sanitary ware, building materials, electricity kits, paints and stationery, along with auto sale activities.
