ZATCA seeks public feedback on amendments to real estate transaction regulations

Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) called on the public to submit their views on the amendments to the executive regulations for the real estate transaction tax (RETT) through public consultation platform before July 11.

 

The amendments to the regulation fall within the expansion of the scope of exceptions to RETT.

 

This is part of the authority’s continuous work in developing the executive regulations for RETT to serve the real estate market transactions and challenges and contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s goals.

 

The amendments added new paragraphs in Article 3, Clause (A) through new exceptions, in addition to adding new article (6 bis) on tax refund in two cases.
