Foreign investments in Saudi Arabia grew by 7% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.434 trillion in Q2 2022, based on the latest official data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

When compared to the first quarter of 2022, foreign investments ebbed 1%, or SAR 25.8 billion in Q2 2022.

Foreign direct investments (FDI) accounted for 41% of total foreign investments in the Kingdom, equivalent to SAR 994.2 billion.

 

Portfolio investments hit SAR 812.2 billion, while other investments stood at SAR 627.8 billion.
