The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) issued a decision to localize a number of economic activities and professions in the Madinah Province.

The decision came in cooperation with the Madinah Province and government agencies, with the aim of providing an appropriate and empowering work environment for national human resources.

The move also aims to expand the circle of participation with the private sector, in line with the localization strategy.

Furthermore, the Ministry issued the procedural guide for the localization decision in Madinah Province, including the grace period, the duration to implement the decision, the percentages of localization in the targeted activities and professions, and the exceptions, if any, for each activity.
