Saudi Electricity inks SAR 10 bln worth local syndicated facility agreement

Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) unveiled plans to establish a USD-denominated green and/or conventional sukuk program and to start convening meetings with fixed-income investors as of tomorrow, March 31.  

 

In a statement to Tadawul today, March 30, SEC indicated that these meetings will be followed by the planned USD-denominated sukuk issuance, subject to market conditions.  

 

The issue will be in the form of senior unsecured USD-denominated sukuk obligations, under the RegS system.
