Phase 2 of authenticating 50% of labor contracts via Qiwa starts: HRSD

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) said the second phase of labor contract authentication started. Establishments are required to e-authenticate 50%of work contracts via Qiwa platform.

 

The target compliance rate for work contract authentication to the total number of employees at any establishment was set at 20% for Q1 2023, 50% for Q2 2023 and 80% for Q3 2023.

 

The e-authentication of labor contracts allows employers to upload and update contract data for Saudi and non-Saudi employees in the private sector.

 

In December 2022, the HRSD Ministry announced work contracts will be authenticated via the e-platform Qiwa, Argaam reported.
