SAMA seeks public feedback on draft rules for APR calculation

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) invited stakeholders and the public to send their feedback on the draft rules governing the calculation of the annual percentage rate (APR) via Istitlaa platform. 

 

The rules aim to improve the disclosure practices for consumers and standardize the mechanism for calculating APR for financing products, the central bank said in a statement.  

 

The suggestions and feedback should be sent within 15 days as of today, Aug. 16, SAMA added.
