The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) placed today, Sept. 5, a one-session trading halt on three companies, namely, National Building and Marketing Co. (NBM), Horizon Food Co. and Dar Almarkabah for Renting Cars Co.
The move followed the companies’ failure to disclose financial statements for the period ended June 30, 2023, within the specified deadline, Tadawul announced in a statement.
Trading on these stocks will resume for 20 sessions, starting from Sept. 6, with the companies directed to disclose their financial statements before Oct. 4, 2023.
If any company fails to comply, the trading suspension will resume from Oct. 5, until the financial statements are disclosed.
