Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) started to localize 35% of the dental profession in the private sector as of today, March 10.

The decision, issued by HRSD Ministry in partnership with the Ministry of Health, will be implemented in the private-sector institutions with three or more workers.

The Health Ministry will oversee and implement the decision, in line with the job market and the requirements of the dental profession.

The private sector establishments will also benefit from the incentives and support programs provided by the HRSD Ministry to help employ Saudis, the Health Ministry noted.

These include recruitment, training, and job continuity support, along with prioritizing localization programs through the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).

The HRSD Ministry issued an informative guide detailing the localization requirements, professions, and the required percentages on its official website. It emphasized the importance of establishments complying with regulations and the strict adherence to avoid potential legal penalties.
