Cabinet approves exempting industry inputs from fees

The Cabinet, chaired by King Salman, gave the green light for implementing the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee's decision on adopting the final draft of the amended controls to exempt industry inputs from fees (taxes).

The Cabinet also approved renaming the Saline Water Conversion Corp. as the Saudi Water Authority, and the Water and Electricity Regulatory Authority as the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority. In addition, the Public Health Authority's regulations were approved.
