Lazurde Company for Jewelry’s board of directors appointed Ihab Ibrahim as Acting CEO, effective today, Oct. 20.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that Ibrahim joined Lazurde in 2003 and served as Chief Operating Officer of Lazurde-Egypt since 2011.

 

He has also held several other leadership positions during his experience of more than 30 years.

 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration Section, from Helwan University, Egypt, in 1990, and a professional diploma in Marketing from the American University in Cairo May 2007, the statement added.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, Lazurde’s board earlier approved Sélim Chidiac's resignation as CEO, effective May 14, citing personal reasons.
