AviLease, the aircraft leasing company fully owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), delivered three new Airbus A320neo aircraft to SDH Wings International Leasing Limited, a joint venture with China’s sovereign wealth fund in which AviLease holds a 10% stake.

In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency, AviLease said the delivery marks a new phase in its collaboration with SDH Wings as part of a broader memorandum of understanding (MoU) that includes the supply of 20 additional next-generation aircraft.

Under the MoU, AviLease will support SDH Wings in expanding its fleet portfolio and strengthening its partnership with Sichuan Development International Holdings (SDIH), the majority shareholder in SDH Wings.

According to Argaam data, AviLease signed the strategic MoU with SDH Wings in December 2023 to supply up to 20 aircraft featuring advanced technologies.
