GACA grants AOC to Riyadh Air

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) granted today, April 6, the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to Riyadh Air, ahead of the Saudi carrier’s commercial operation.

 

This came after Riyadh Air fulfilled all regulatory requirements and safety standards, in accordance with the Civil Aviation Law, the authority said on X.

 

According to data available with Argaam, in October 2024, Riyadh Air signed an agreement to purchase 60 Airbus A321neo aircraft ahead of its planned launch of operations in 2025.

 

Riyadh Air aims to operate flights to more than 100 global destinations by 2030.
