Jana Medical Co. announced that its accumulated losses reached SAR 13.02 million, representing 40.55% of its capital, based on the annual financial results for 2024.

In a statement to the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), the company attributed its accumulated losses to higher provisions for credit losses and financing costs, along with adding provision for lawsuits.

The company has planned a bundle of procedures to address these losses, including boosting sales through more effective marketing efforts, enhancing customer experience, and broadening its distribution reach.

This strategy is expected to boost operating revenues and optimize the use of existing production capacity, which will positively affect the company's financials and enhance its ability to reduce capital loss ratio.

It aims to reduce expenses by conducting a comprehensive review of operational and administrative items, cutting non-essential costs, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Jana targets to raise the number of exclusive medical agencies to access new and innovative products, strengthen its market competitiveness and create opportunities for higher sales. This strategy is projected to support income diversification and reduce reliance on a limited number of suppliers or products.

The Saudi-listed company will assess its financial and liquidity positions to evaluate its capacity to meet outstanding liabilities. It will also review and approve its five-year business plan, which includes cash flow projections and future forecasts.

Jana plans to fully activate the Odoo ERP program by completing employee training and activating the platform by Q2 2025. This initiative aims to improve operational efficiency and quality, support the digital transformation of business, which will contribute to increasing sales and reducing operating costs.

Procedures and instructions applicable on companies listed in Saudi capital market whose accumulated losses reach 20% or more out of the capital will apply, the statement added.
