National Agricultural Development Co.’s (NADEC) expects its performance for the remainder of 2025 to align with its strategic and operational plans, CFO Hassan Aqrouq told Argaam.
The Q1 profit growth was driven by a 17.94% year-on-year increase in revenues, driven by strong sales in the agriculture and protein segments, he said, adding that treasury income rose by 17.35% YoY.
He explained that the protein segment saw sales grow by SAR 46.45 million YoY, thanks to a stable outlook and expected market share expansion.
The Western Region recorded the highest demand during the first quarter, boosting dairy sales coinciding with Ramadan and Umrah, Aqrouq said.
According to data available with Argaam, NADEC’s profits increased by 2% to SAR 103.4 million in Q1 2025 from SAR 101.3 million in Q1 2024.
