Al Sagr Chairman Saud Al Arifi resigns

Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Co. said Chairman Saud Al Arifi submitted his resignation from his position as Chairman and Head of the Executive Committee, citing personal reasons.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, Al Sagr said Al Arifi will remain a member of both the board and the executive committee during the current term.

The resignation will take effect on July 1, or upon regulatory approval of a new chairman, whichever comes first.

 

Al Sagr said it would announce any material developments in due course.

 

Al Arifi, an independent board member, was appointed Chairman in December 2023, according to data compiled by Argaam.
