Trump calls for emergency National Security Council meeting

The US President Donald Trump has instructed the National Security Council to remain on high alert inside the White House Situation Room, Fox News reported.

 

The move comes after the White House announced that Trump cut short his visit to the G7 summit and would return directly to Washington to address what it described as “urgent matters” and unfolding developments in the Middle East.

 

Earlier, Trump posted a message on Truth Social urging residents of the Iranian capital, Tehran, to evacuate the city immediately — without providing further details.
