Eni SpA CEO Claudio Descalzi said the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran has not impacted oil production. He added that OPEC continues to hold spare capacity.

Speaking to Reuters at Energy Asia 2025, Descalzi stated: “We’re not seeing any decline in output. OPEC has spare capacity. We have inventories. There’s no need to worry about oil and gas.”

His comments follow a rise in oil prices since the escalation between Israel and Iran, which has fueled concerns over possible supply disruptions.
