Faisal Sultan, Vice President and Managing Director of Lucid Middle East, said the company is currently working on expanding its regional network for sales and after-sales services in the Middle East.

In an interview with Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper, Sultan said the company opened studios and service centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dubai. He added that Lucid will soon open studios and service centers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Investments Park.

The top executive also disclosed that the company is preparing to launch a mid-size model, which is expected to be the most widespread in its history and a key pillar in its future growth plans.

He pointed out that Lucid's partnership with the Public Investment Fund (PIF) represents a strong foundation for growth and investor confidence, as it provides long-term financing and enables expansion.

Stable funding and government support in Saudi Arabia form a solid base that allows the company to grow and develop.

Lucid, which is partially owned by the PIF, inaugurated its manufacturing facility (AMP-2) in September 2023. This is the company’s first international plant, located in King Abdullah Economic City.

The e-vehicle maker aims to export about 92% of the output from its Saudi plant to international markets, while allocating around 13% of it to GCC countries, Argaam earlier reported, citing Sultan.
