Iran, Israel agree on complete ceasefire: Trump

US President Donald Trump announced early Tuesday that Iran and Israel agreed on a complete ceasefire.

In a post on Truth Social platform, Trump wrote: “Congratulations to everyone! … “It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a complete and total ceasefire.”

He explained that the ceasefire will take effect in nearly six hours (the statement was posted at 1:02 am KSA time), once both countries complete ongoing military operations.

According to the agreement announced by President Trump, Iran will initiate the ceasefire, Israel will follow, And the war will officially end after 24 hours.

“On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both countries, Israel and Iran, on having the stamina, courage, and intelligence to end, what should be called. “The 12-day war,” Trump said.

“This is a war that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will,” he added.
