Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said that Israeli aircraft bombed an Iranian radar in response to the missile attack from Tehran on Tuesday morning.
However, in a statement carried by the Associated Press, Netanyahu refrained from taking more drastic action after a plea from US President Donald Trump during a phone call.
Earlier today, speaking to the press, Trump rebuked the two sides, noting that Tel Aviv launched an attack on Iran immediately after the ceasefire deal was approved.
Previously, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stated that Iran had completely violated the ceasefire by firing missiles after the agreement went into effect. He instructed the military to resume strikes on Iranian targets.
However, Iran denied firing missiles at Israel after the ceasefire between the two sides took effect, stressing that its armed forces were on high alert to respond to any hostile action.
