Saudi Arabia's chemical exports rise 2% to SAR 5.96B in April

Saudi Arabia's exports of chemical industry and related products rose by 2% year-on-year (YoY) to nearly SAR 5.96 billion in April 2025.

 

Compared to March 2025, the chemicals exports decreased by SAR 1.5 billion, or 20%.

 

Chemicals and related products made up 21% of April’s SAR 28.4 billion in non-oil exports.

 

 

India topped the list of chemicals importers from Saudi Arabia at nearly SAR 1.1 billion, accounting for 18% of the total exports of chemical products in April. China and Thailand followed with 8% each, as shown in the table below:

Saudi Arabia’s imports of chemical industry and related products reached SAR 7.16 billion in April, up 19% YoY.

  

Chemical imports accounted for 9% of the total imports of SAR 76.1 billion, as shown in the following table:
